April Jones is a creative and business savvy entrepreneur well established in the beauty industry and who attributes her love of style and fashion to her dedication of sharing her talents with fellow stylists currently in the infancy of their craft or who possess an interest to emerge further in their profession. A 1985 graduate of Texas City High School and 1994 graduate of San Jacinto College, April is an ambitious and energetic “trendsetter,” who remains persistent in establishing, achieving and exceeding the bar. April is equipped with the drive to perform nothing less than her excellent best. Her overwhelming commitment in becoming as equally knowledgeable about the financial and business aspects associated with the beauty industry, eventually provided her with an opportunity to perform in the role of Proprietress by establishing her fist salon, Ebony & Ivory in 2000 which first opened its doors initially in Texas City; and later transitioned to its former location at the Plaza Salons in Webster for the past four years.

A professional hair stylist for over 20 years and a certified DreamCatcher and new concepts hair extension specialist, April specializes in hair replacement, hair extensions, and the newest innovation known as “fusion,” a strand-by-strand hair extension process. And she continues to embrace the traditional hair maintenance techniques in the form of precision hair cuts and styles, coloring, relaxers, and perms; using the finest, quality hair care products.

Her latest venture is most exciting to say the least; a 2800 square foot contemporary and state-of-the-art salon, staffed with skilled stylists, who are experienced and qualified to provide an array of services to their clients. And the convenience of a full-time nail and eyelash extension artist.
